These terms cover your use of the website at madebyzl.com. They are not the terms of any engagement: work we do for a client is governed by the written agreement for that work, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.

Who you are dealing with

ZL Studio is a brand of ZL Technologies. Anything contractual, including proposals and invoices, is with ZL Technologies.

Using this site

You are welcome to read, quote and link to anything here. Please do not copy the site wholesale, present our work as your own, or use our name, logo or case studies to imply a relationship that does not exist.

What belongs to whom

The text, design, code, and the ZL Studio name and monogram on this site belong to ZL Technologies. Product names belong to their owners. Describing our work on GoWeya does not transfer anything in GoWeya to a reader.

Accuracy

We keep this site accurate and we correct it when it is not. Even so, it is provided as it is: nothing here is a warranty, a fixed price, or advice you should act on without talking to us. Descriptions of what a product does are accurate at the date shown and products change.

Enquiries are not agreements

Sending the contact form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve capacity, or oblige either of us to anything. Work begins when there is a written scope that we have both agreed.

Confidentiality of what you send us

We treat what you tell us about your product as confidential and we do not repeat it, whether or not we end up working together. We will not name you or describe your project publicly without asking you first.

Links out

Where we link to somewhere else, that site is not ours and these terms stop at the link.

Liability

We are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, to the extent the law allows us to say so. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published when you read the site is the one that applies to that visit.
